Google has been pushing AI in all parts of its business ranging from Google Assistant to Google Deep Mind. At the same time, Google has been working on intelligent wearable devices for patients to help NHS Doctors face the problems before they occur, rather than calling them for daily appointments that have changed nothing at all.
The new courses with Google AI portal will let anyone with an interest, at almost any level, learn how to use neural networking and AI. Because Google continues to adopt the measure of being “AI First” company, these courses were designed for internal staff.
“From deep learning experts looking for advanced materials and courses on TensorFlow, to “curious cats” who want to take their first steps with AI, anyone seeking to educational content from ML experts at Google can find it here.” says, Zuri Kemp from Google AI.
There is also a Machine Learning Crash Course (MLCC) which provides interactive visualizations, exercises, and instructional videos that anyone can use to learn and practice ML concepts. There are 18,000 Google’s staff have already signed up the free course. They have used the skills learned from projects like VR for Google Earth and collaborated the cameras on Daydream headsets to intelligently improve the streaming quality of YouTube video. Originally, it’s designed by the engineering education team in Google.
Google promises that this is the beginning of the offer and that there will be extra documentation and courses in the next few months.
