RMS Omega, a systems integrator of bar code, RFID, mobile and wireless technology solutions, announced the acquisition of Capturity, a division of Compu-Power and a provider of RFID location and tracking applications.

Capturity develops specialized data acquisition applications for the power utility, life sciences, logistics and manufacturing industries. The company’s barcode and RFID software applications include ASSETracs, an RFID-based software that helps companies track various types of assets in the enterprise; AGTalk, an RFID middleware application that manages and controls RFID devices; and one for the life sciences industry Vivarium Census System (VCS) based RFID and barcode software suite. VCS helps animal research agencies conduct cage counting in minutes.
