Last week, Connect & GO in Montreal introduced the latest wearable products designed specifically for entertainment and water parks at the IAAPA Trade Show in Orlando, Fla. The wearable product Connect & GO Parkpass is an RFID wristband that gives travelers a fully connected experience.
Parkpass was conceptualized by Ubisoft at a home entertainment center in Montreal, Canada. Families can engage in a variety of activities, games, and challenges based on the popular Ubisoft game characters and stories. Each game participant receives a personalized Parkpass bracelet. Parental configuration paired with children’s profile to enhance safety. Unless parents leave the center, children bound to them can leave.
When children move within the center, they can use the wristband to play games, earn integral and redeem prizes. The company explained that the game keeps children motivated and engaged, and the data collected on each scan can help operators understand patterns and behaviors. In a prepared statement, Anthony Palermo, CEO and co-founder of Connect & GO, said: “Parkpass gives visitors a greater focus on amusement parks for fun and meetings.”
ParkPass allows park operators to gain insight into consumer behavior and buying patterns. Real-time collected data can be displayed on the Parkpass dashboard to help the park optimize operations, develop sales strategies and marketing plans, as well as create customer profiles.
Visitors can purchase custom wristbands at an additional cost. Parkpass’s integral system can also be used for loyalty programs.
